| Name: | Roger Davis |
|---|---|
| Birthdate: | 07-15 |
| Location: | New York, New York, United States |

Full Name: Roger
Age: 23
Birthday: 7/15
Physical Appearance: (based on Adam Pascal's Roger) Roger has dirty blonde wavy hair that is somewhat shaggy, he's always pushing it out of his eyes, it's not really that long though, probably medium height (up to his ears). He has a little stubble, from being too lazy to shave, but he doesn't want a full beard so he shaves when it gets too long.
Roger's blue eyes are often adorned with a sad and distant look in them. His look is mostly the `80's rocker look, only not too over the edge any more. And he always wears his leather jacket out if its not summer)
Emotional Strengths: He doesn’t give in easily, he’s passionate about what he does, he cares deeply for his friends (even if he won’t always show it), he’ll always stick up for his friends
Emotional Weaknesses: he’ll easily (mentally) beat himself up over something, he is a pessimist (most of the time), he runs from his problems instead of facing them, he speaks or acts before he thinks, he likes to isolate himself and can be self-pitying at times
Talents: he can play a mean guitar
Secret: He found out he had AIDS after his girlfriend killed herself his bathroom.
Background: Born and raised in an average suburban town on Long Island, Roger grew up an only child to Nancy and Patrick Davis. He got along well with his mother, she was the kind type who didn’t scold him often and let him do as he please, however she would worry about him of course and always liked to know where he was. His dad was another story. He was extremely stubborn and had a bad temper. Every night he would go to the bar after work, wasn’t home much; which Roger liked. But every so often he’d come home drunk, and if he was in a bad mood, he’d treat Roger and his mother like crap, not holding back to hit his mother if he got angry enough. Roger would often defend her, which also worsened his relationship with his father because he stood up to him. In high school that Roger discovered his three favorites loves: sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Freshman year he started up a band with a few of his friends. Being the hot rock star that he was, Roger started going to a lot of parties, getting high and partying with his friends. His band fell apart his senior year, and the boy just barely graduated high school. Wanting to pursue a career in music, Roger attended Hunter College in New York City where he met an up-and-coming film-maker; Mark Cohen. The two of them got an apartment in the East Village along with two others; Benjamin Coffins III and Tom Collins.
When they got settled in the city, Roger decided to start up a band. He and a few friends formed the band ‘The Well Hungarians’ where he played lead guitar and vocals. They say New York City never sleeps, and Roger proved that. He got swept away with the 80’s rockstar life. His band worked its way up, getting gigs here and there at well known clubs and local venues, parties every night and the experimenting with drugs; his drug of choice being heroin. At one of his gigs he met a girl named April Ericsson. The two of them met eyes during a performance and began talking after the show and were considered ‘inseparable’ ever since.
They dated for a while, until they found out April had AIDS… she couldn’t take the news and the next morning he found her dead in the bathroom. There was also a note left for him saying “We’ve got AIDS”. In horror and disbelief, Roger went to get himself tested, only to find out the note was true. This news along with April’s death sent Roger in a downward spiral. He wouldn’t leave the apartment, he gave up his band and guitar, and he would barely talk to anyone except Mark. After persistent bugging from Mark, the junkie also decided to give up his heroin addiction; it being the cause of his all his problems. The withdrawal was painful and long, and if it weren’t for the help of his best friend Mark helping him through and encouraging him, Roger would have defiantly given up. Although he never verbally said anything, Roger is forever grateful for his friend for believing in him and sticking by him no matter how much of an asshole he was to his buddy during the rough times.
After a year of withdrawal, Roger began to slowly become his old self again. He didn’t shut himself away as much and he finally picked up his guitar again after a year of not playing. He decided that he wanted to be remembered for something great before he dies, so Roger’s main goal is to write one great song before he expires.
